JIM BRAUN

My name is Jim Braun and I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in the Chicagoland area with a lifelong passion for the arts. In the late 90’s I turned to glass as a medium, and ever since I’ve been fascinated with the endless possibilities of this seemingly simple material.

My work explores these possibilities, and designing with color, texture and shape is only the first step. Applying heat and cooling allows for amazing transformations in glass, and after decades in this field I’m still inspired to continue to learn and grow.
